PlayMakers Repertory Company (LORT D), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, seeks a highly motivated Wardrobe Supervisor for their 25-26 season. PRC produces a 7-show main stage season in the Paul Green Theatre, thrust stage, and a 3 show Second Stage series in the Kenan Theater, a flexible space, on the campus of the University of North Carolina.
Applicants should possess a BA/BFA in Theatre or commensurate experience, and two or more years of professional theatrical wardrobe experience. Successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as proficiency in basic wig care and application. A well-rounded knowledge of costume/clothing care, and basic sewing repair knowledge.
The Wardrobe Supervisor will be responsible for organizing, running and maintaining six to eight performances per week for a three-week run in a 7-show season, and provide assistance or supervision for the second stage shows. Ability to work with and train wardrobe running crews drawn from undergraduate students is required. Make up & Hair design and styling a plus.
Contract dates are 7/28/25-5/8/26, start date is negotiable and contract is renewable.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
