Position: Internship Program    

Salary Range: $12/hour

Internship Program Overview 

Internships at Blumenthal Arts are designed to offer hands-on learning experiences for college and graduate students considering careers in arts management and related fields. Our goal is to equip students with meaningful professional experience and a robust skillset that will carry into their future careers.

  • Internships are full-time, defined as 20–30 hours per week.
  • A minimum 10-week commitment is required.
  • Work schedules may vary depending on departmental needs.
  • Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
  • Internships are paid to assist with living expenses (housing not provided).

In addition to departmental responsibilities, interns meet periodically with other interns and the Education Preprofessional Programs Manager for professional development, career preparation sessions, and additional learning opportunities.

Students may be eligible to receive academic credit upon completion of the internship, and are responsible for coordinating with their college or university to meet credit requirements.

Requirements 

  • Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate (within one year of graduation). 
  • Must have reliable transportation to Uptown Charlotte; this is an onsite program

    Applicants who do not submit all required documents by the deadline will not be considered.

Applications will close on Wednesday, March 11th. Offers will be extended early April. The Summer 2026 term is slated to run late May through mid-August .
