Shared Radiance announces audition for SHINE

Shine is an annual variety show produced by Shared Radiance. This production will be a non-AEA project with these performances being done as a fundraising opportunity for the company. Cast members will be cast on a volunteer basis. Auditionees must be at least 18 years of age.

This show will be performed in the Congregational United Church of Christ (CUCC) and one undecided location.

Rehearsals for Shine will begin in mid-December, with performances on February 8th @ 7pm and 9th @ 2pm.  There will be 4-6 rehearsals for this production, one being a final dress/tech rehearsal, and 2 being TBAs to use if needed or if anyone wants extra rehearsal time.  Rehearsal dates are still in the works, so if there are any days of the week that would or would not work for you, or any prior conflicts, please let us know along with your audition submission!

The theme for Shine this year is Miscast!  The idea being you would perform something you would not traditionally be cast as, for any reason.  Please let Taylor or Sherri (contact information below) know if you have any questions about the theme, or if something would work for it.  If you’ve got a pitch, we want to hear it!

Auditions will be submitted via email by Monday, 12/9/24, with the first rehearsal to be later that same week. Please send video auditions with either the song/monologue/scene/dance you would like to perform, or if it is something still in the works, either a video or a text submission with a breakdown of what you would like to do.  Audition submissions can be sent to both Taylor and Sherri at neesetm@gmail.com and sherri@sharedradiance.org.  Please include Shine Audition in the title of the email!
