This production will be a non-AEA project, with paid roles. Shared Radiance is looking to double or triple-cast three roles so we have two or three casts. Contracts include $75.00 for a half day (one show) and $125.00 for a full day (up to 3 shows).
This show is a touring school show and will be performed in schools across North Carolina. A travel stipend may included in the pay under specific circumstances (ex.: distance traveled). This is part-time and the contract lasts for one year.
Rehearsals for ShakesCollage will begin in November with performances scheduled as they are booked. Auditions will be held on October 25th (10/25/2024) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and November 2nd (11/2/2024) from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
For this production, auditioners must be 18 years of age, or older. Headshots and resumes are required at the time of audition. They can be provided by hard copy at the time of audition or emailed to sarah@sharedradiance.org ahead of time. Please come prepared with two one-minute Shakespeare monologues: one comedic and one tragic. Also, please show us any special skills you have such as singing, playing instruments, or anything else that you have. Be prepared to answer a few interview questions.
Live auditions are preferred but if you cannot make auditions, video auditions can be sent to sherri@sharedradiance.org along with resumes and headshots. We may reach out for further information as needed.
