FUNDRAISING PARTNER PROGRAM

Help us make a greater impact by joining our Fundraising Partner Program! Thanks to the generosity of theatre people like you, NCTC’s programs develop future artists, audiences, and advocates.

Play It Forward for NCTC!

Schools, colleges and universities, theatre companies, and individuals can become Fundraising Partners for NCTC. Your fundraiser can be anything you want it to be. K-12 educators and students: host a pancake dinner, bake sale, or partner with a local college or community theatre for a one-act or karaoke night. College professors: host workshops for local schools, or host a “Pie your Professor” event. Theatre companies: partner with your audience by doing a pass the hat night! Put your creativity to work! Find even more ideas below.

All contributions will help strengthen North Carolina’s vibrant theatre industry, and engage the artists, audiences, and advocates of tomorrow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Membership dues and program fees only cover 70% of the work NCTC does year-round to engage the artists, audiences and advocates of the future. Our Fundraising Partners help make up the difference, and help introduce new people to NCTC who may become future program participants, supporters, and advocates around the state. You’re helping in more ways than one!

There is no minimum contribution to the Fundraising Partner Program. In 2023, our gifts from member schools and organizations ranged from $50 to $2,113. We encourage you to make a donation that is meaningful but within your means, and to get the community involved! Having a show of support at any level makes all the difference.

Contact us! Tell us what you’d like to do and we can work to support you, from providing tips for success to sending materials and talking points to have on hand for your audience.

No. Money donated through the Fundraising Partners Program does not count towards other payments, but we will recognize you as a Fundraising Partner on our website and at events.

It’s easiest to move money around (cash, check, or digital payment transfer all work) to support NCTC programs as needed, but if raising funds is out of the question, there are other ways you can show your support! Consider sharing NCTC’s Wishlist on Amazon.

We’d love to! Let us know in advance when you plan to host your NCTC Fundraising Partner event and we’ll do our best to send a representative. We appreciate your support and would love to be there in person, but if it’s not possible to coordinate schedules or if you’d prefer not to have a guest, that’s also fine.

Thank you to our 2023–24 Fundraising Partners!
